YodhaPlay, operated by YodhaVerse Innovations, is committed to providing a fair and transparent experience for all participants. Below is our policy for cancellations and refunds related to skill-based challenges.

Introduction

YodhaPlay is a skill-based entertainment platform where users participate in challenges with nominal entry fees. This policy outlines the conditions, eligibility, and process for cancellations and refunds, ensuring compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Platform Error: A technical issue on YodhaPlay’s platform prevents participation in a challenge (e.g., server downtime, transaction failure).
  • Challenge Cancellation: YodhaPlay cancels a challenge before it starts due to insufficient participants or other reasons.
  • Failed Transaction: An entry fee is deducted, but the user is not registered for the challenge due to a payment processing error.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • User-initiated withdrawal from a challenge after registration, unless due to a platform error.
  • Entry fees for challenges completed, regardless of performance or outcome.
  • Requests made more than 7 days after the transaction date.
  • Users from restricted states (Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Telangana) attempting to participate in violation of platform terms.
  • In-app purchases or rewards (e.g., credits, virtual items) used or partially consumed.

Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at business@yodhaplay.in within 7 days of the transaction.
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a transaction ID, UPI reference number, or email confirmation.
  3. Describe the issue (e.g., platform error, challenge cancellation).
  4. Our team will review the request within 3 business days and notify you of approval or rejection via email.
  5. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method (e.g., UPI, bank account) within 5-10 business days.

Timelines

- Refund Request Deadline: Within 7 days from the transaction or challenge cancellation date.
- Processing Time: 5-10 business days after approval.
- Bank Processing: Additional time may be required by your bank or payment provider (e.g., UPI provider, credit card issuer).

Fees and Charges

- No additional fees are charged by YodhaPlay for processing refunds.
- Transaction fees (if any) imposed by payment providers may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds for failed transactions or canceled challenges will include the full entry fee, subject to payment provider deductions.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the specified timeline:

  • Check your bank account or UPI app for the credited amount.
  • Contact your bank or payment provider, as processing delays may occur.
  • If the issue persists, email us at business@yodhaplay.in with your transaction details.
